Bringing Lighting to Life in the Heart of Atlanta: A Backyard Transformation

At IXR, we take pride in turning outdoor spaces into functional and beautiful extensions of the home. Our most recent project, located in the heart of Atlanta was no exception.

The homeowner came to us with a clear and practical goal. He wanted to enhance his backyard with lighting that would improve visibility at night, especially for the late evening trips outside with his dog. At the same time, he hoped to accentuate the natural beauty of a stunning waterfall feature that serves as the focal point of the yard.

Our team got to work designing a custom low voltage solutions tailored to his needs. Here is what we delivered.

• Pathway Lighting: We installed a series of lights along the backyard path to ensure safe and consistent illumination for nighttime walks. These fixtures not only enhance safety, but also add a warm, welcoming glow to the outdoor space.

• Waterfall Illumination: To highlight the elegant movement and texture of the waterfall, we integrated four waterproof lights directly into the feature. The result is an eye catching centerpiece that now shines both day and night!

• Tree spot lights: To add depth and height, we also installed a few strategically placed spotlights to illuminate a nearby tree.

This project is a great example of how thoughtful lighting design can serve both practical needs and aesthetic goals!
